 The Laugh at Cancer Organization Inc. is a non-profit organization that is helping families touched by cancer...directly or indirectly! Our mission is to help families facing cancer's touch and restoring hope in families devastated by this disease. Come by our website and see how we are making difference together and achieving the impossible. The organization and it projects are for families touched by cancer in anyway, even pet owners.

The founder has built and maintains an online global support community for anyone touched by cancer, even pet owners. This popular support community is called the Laugh at Cancer Support Community and it is free to all ages in need. The community has many projects and members to offer support along with hope to families facing cancer’s touch. Take a moment to drop by and see how we can help you meet others, to offer support or friendship.

We are restoring hope, by touching one family at a time. Check out our Wings of Hope Project, which offers a greeting card program and takes prayer request for our prayer team. Our Global Chain of Hope is linking a resource to one network. Come join our community and help us raise awareness and information in this chain of hope. There are many wonderful resources out there, but sometimes families need help finding assistance. Once you agree to become a link in our global chain, I will add your link to my website for all members and visitors to see for the life of my organization.

Additionally, I need your help with our Day of Hope project is collecting throw blankets and small gifts to pass out among adults or children in the Jacksonville, FL area. On the 28th of each month, join us to disburse gifts and information to our families on the first coast. Help us restore hope and pass out smiles to the every local patient at local clinics. We hope to continue this project every month, but make it big enough to reach every family that comes. Please consider donating to this project or joining us, so we can keep it going strong and bless families with hope they can count on.

We need small gifts and throw blankets for children and adults, plus you may donate a gift of love for us to finance these projects. I do not get government funding and I need your help to make a difference. In addition, we have several support communities for those needing special support and encouragement. Many volunteer opportunities are available, now in every online and offline community. We have a new chapter in Jackson, Ohio!  The Meaning of Our Name

I named the Laugh at Cancer Organization Inc. is named for many reasons. First, I wanted this organization to focus on the celebration life, no matter what each of us face as a family. Second, as I grew up, my grandfather taught me to laugh when times got rough and never give up on myself. Third, I wanted this community to be a positive place for members and visitors to come for support or encouragement.  Finally, don't let cancer steal your laughter, because together we can make a difference.  Therefore, these are the main reasons for my choice in naming this organization.

New Project for 2009-

LACO is collecting Bibles, Blankets, and Bookmarks for cancer patients and families who has specifically asked for them. Also, we are collecting small gifts for children and adults. LACO receives no government or special funding, so we depend on donations to fund our various projects. Thank you in advance for your continued support throughout 2008! 

Celebrate Your Life

Many patients and survivors are left with feelings of fear and uncertainty. Unfortunately, cancer affects the entire family and your community.

The family is scared to death and their finances are wiped out. They must be strong for their loved one, who needs them. Most survivors are left alone and wondering how to live after treatment.

This disease is life changing and scary at the same time. Cancer makes you face your biggest fears, whether you want to or not.

No matter your religion or circumstance in life, we welcome those in need of support and friendship. Please feel free to make yourself at home, because this is your group too. Therefore, let’s celebrate life together and learn to laugh when we are feeling blue!
